Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER teams. You will work with doctors to deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly with teammates, and learn through our mentorship programs and open-concept hospitals. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required based on hospital needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in veterinary technology; AVMA accreditation preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state of practice required; VTS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care from triage to discharge.
• Perform treatments, monitoring, and anesthesia under doctor supervision.
• Assist with diagnostics, imaging, and critical care nursing.
• Communicate effectively with team and pet owners.
• Respond to emergencies and support the care team as needed.
