Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You will handle a wide range of cases, from triage to critical care, working with our doctors to deliver high-quality, compassionate care for pets and their families.

You'll be involved in anesthesia, monitoring, diagnostic procedures, blood products, and client communication, all while thriving in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, learning, and growth in veterinary emergency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AVMA-accredited program preferred.
• CVT/RVT/LVMT credential in the state is required; VTS a plus.
• 1+ year experience in veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 25 kg.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, triage, treatments, and monitoring.
• Assist with IVs, CRIs, transfusions, and anesthesia.
• Support doctors, communicate with clients, and coordinate care.
• Operate diagnostics, imaging, and sample collection.
• Maintain EMR and practice software.
