VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced ER team. You will work on the front lines of emergency medicine, handling cases from triage to discharge, collaborating with doctors, and delivering compassionate care to pets and their families.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a veterinary technician, with emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state of VEG practice is required; VTS in ECC/anesthesia is a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to deliver gold-standard care.
• Perform CPR as trained and participate in emergency protocols.
• Use advanced techniques including IVs, CRIs, blood products, and sample collection.
• Operate diagnostics and imaging, maintain patient comfort and safety.
• Contribute to plan development and care flow as a team member.
