Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team on the front lines of veterinary emergency care. You will handle a wide range of cases, from minor to complex emergencies, collaborating with doctors to deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care.

You will engage in triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while supporting pet parents during stressful moments and continuing to grow your clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state of VEG practice.
• 1+ years of vet tech experience; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate-degree preferred in vet tech.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care.
• Perform diagnostics, IVs, CRIs, and blood products as needed.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to care plans.
