Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line team. You will handle a wide range of emergency cases, from triage to critical care, collaborating closely with doctors and teammates to deliver gold-standard, compassionate care.

Ideal candidates are CVT/RVT/LV T with 1+ year in emergency or specialty settings, capable of working nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced, noisy ER environment.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LV T credential in the state of VEG practice is required; VTS in ECC or anesthesia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line emergency nursing care across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care.
• Deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during the most critical moments from triage to discharge.
• Assist with IVs, CRIs, blood products, and complex patient monitoring.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to shape plans and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Perform CPR when needed and participate in advanced emergency procedures.
