VEG is hiring an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You will work alongside doctors to deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care for pets in emergencies, from triage through discharge, in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in veterinary technology strongly preferred
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state
• 1+ year experience as veterinary technician; emergency or specialty care preferred
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with practice management software and EMR systems
• Excellent communicator; remains calm under pressure
• Able to stand long hours and lift up to 25 kg (40 kg with assistance)

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge
• Deliver treatments, diagnostics, and monitoring in critical moments
• Assist with anesthesia, IVs, CRIs, blood products, and monitoring
• Collaborate with doctors to shape treatment plans and care flow
• Perform CPR and other emergency procedures as trained
• Use diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement as needed
