Job summary

VEG ER for Pets seeks an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency team. You will engage in triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing alongside our veterinarians and VEG team.

We're looking for a credentialed technician with 1+ year in emergency or specialty medicine, strong communication, and the ability to manage stress in a fast-paced setting. AVMA-accredited education is required.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVMT credential in the state where the VEG practice is located.
• 1+ years of experience in emergency or specialty veterinary medicine preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology preferred.
• Excellent communicator and remains calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Deliver nursing care and emotional support throughout emergencies.
• Assist with IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions and related procedures.
• Collaborate with doctors and teammates to maintain smooth care flow.
• Perform diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement.
• Respond to high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.
