Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital seeks a Part-Time Staff Nurse to provide high-quality pediatric nursing care at 48 hours bi-weekly. The role requires a BSN (or progress within 5 years), Ohio RN license, and BLS certification, with preferred 1 year of experience in pediatrics or acute care.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, lead aspects of patient care, and participate in safety and quality initiatives while using EPIC and MS Office systems.

Qualifications

• BSN degree or in progress within 5 years.
• Current Ohio RN license and BLS certification required.
• 1 year of pediatric or hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care with family-centered approach.
• Provide patient care across pediatric populations with emphasis on safety.
• Lead and mentor staff; participate in education and quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure efficient operations and high-quality care.
