Akron Children’s Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Pediatric unit on a part-time night schedule (7pm-7:30am, 24 hours/week). The role focuses on family-centered care, leadership duties, and clinical mentoring within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN (or be to obtain within 5 years), have Ohio RN licensure, and a current BLS certification, with prior healthcare experience and EMR proficiency preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are required.
• Current BSN or plan to obtain within 5 years from date of hire.
• Licensed RN in Ohio is required.
• Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required; other dept. certifications may be needed.
• Experience in healthcare and using MS Office or EMR systems is preferred.

• Provide patient care across pediatric populations, adapting to developmental needs.
