Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a Staff Nurse for a full-time night shift at our Akron campus. The 36-hour week runs 7:00 pm–7:30 am, onsite, with family-centered pediatric nursing care.

BSN required within five years, Ohio RN license, and BLS certification. Proficiency with EPIC and Microsoft Office is preferred. The role includes leadership, staff mentoring, and collaboration to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required or must be obtained within 5 years.
• Current Ohio RN license required.
• BLS certification required; other dept certs may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Provide family-centered care for individuals or groups.
• Demonstrate leadership and mentor clinical staff.
