Job summary

ServiceMaster by Rice is seeking a Technician to provide emergency and disaster restoration services for residential and commercial sites. The role focuses on water/fire restoration, mold remediation, and carpet cleaning under the direction of Crew Chiefs and Managers.

You will perform cleaning, content pack-out, equipment setup, and on-site communication with customers, ensuring safety and timely project completion. A valid driver’s license and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

Knowledge of water and fire restoration, mold remediation, and carpet/general cleaning techniques; certifications in these areas are a plus.
Willingness to renew certifications to maintain eligibility.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform restoration/remediation, cleaning, and packaging of contents.
Execute water extraction, deodorizing, and surface treatment per supervisor directions.
Operate equipment safely; install and monitor air movers/dehumidifiers; return equipment after job completion.
Take inventory of items moved and communicate status to customers and supervisors.
Communicate clearly with customers and team; escalate issues to supervisors as needed.
Be punctual and flexible for emergency calls and on-call shifts as required.
