Job summary

ServiceMaster by Rice is seeking a Crew Chief to lead on-site restoration teams on residential and commercial sites. You will supervise field crews, assess damage, plan restoration work, and communicate with customers to meet timelines and profitability goals.

The role requires strong project leadership, the ability to respond to emergencies, and a valid driver's license. You will work full-time with overtime eligibility and may participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge in water and fire restoration, mold remediation, and carpet/cleaning techniques; certifications a plus.
• People and project management experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to sketch space, take measurements, and calculate billable charges.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site crew and supervise restoration/remediation activities.
• Assess damage and determine salvageability; plan restoration approach and obtain customer approval.
• Estimate loss and restoration costs; communicate progress to management and customers.
• Ensure safety, proper equipment use, and timely project completion.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain status updates throughout the project.
