Job summary

ServiceMaster by Rice seeks a Crew Chief to supervise on-site restoration crews for residential and commercial sites, specializing in water/fire restoration, mold remediation, or carpet cleaning. You will direct procedures to restore properties on time and to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include directing crew, planning restoration, estimating charges, ensuring safety, and maintaining clear customer communication with project management throughout the job.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of water and fire restoration, mold remediation, and carpet cleaning techniques.
• Certifications in restoration areas are a plus.
• Ability to sketch space, take measurements, and compute billable charges.
• People and project management experience; strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of projects by directing the on-site crew on procedures and methods.
• Formulate restoration plans, determine billable charges, and obtain customer approval.
• Oversee safety, equipment handling, and on-site logistics throughout the project.
• Maintain customer communication, provide status updates, and ensure timely completion.
• Extends excellent customer service on all projects and meets customer expectations.
