Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to obtain medication histories for ED patients, document in the EHR, and support pharmacists and clinicians. This 1.0 FTE role works with patients, families, and providers, with duties that may include inpatient technician tasks when needed.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, CPhT certification, NJ Board registration (or within 6 months), and two years of pharmacy tech experience; strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) certification required.
• Current NJ Board of Pharmacy registration or eligible within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medication histories from ED patients or families and document in EHR.
• Communicate history to ED pharmacist, physician, and nursing staff.
• Possibly perform inpatient pharmacy technician duties as needed.
