Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to obtain medication histories for new ED patients, document in the EHR, and support pharmacists and nurses. Requires CPhT certification and NJ Board registration (or within 6 months). Two years of technician experience preferred.

8-hour shifts, 20 hours weekly; compensation range $22.64–$29.42 per hour. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, verifying regimens with pharmacies, recording allergies, and assisting in inpatient technician

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPhT certification and NJ registration or within 6 months.
• Two years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medication histories from patients, families, and records.
• Document medications and allergies in the EHR for review.
• Verify regimens with pharmacies and providers to resolve discrepancies.
• Precepts technicians and participate in performance improvement.
