Capital Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to obtain comprehensive medication histories for ED patients and document them in the EHR for pharmacist review. You will support ED staff and may perform inpatient technician duties as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CPhT certification with NJ Board registration within 6 months, and at least two years of technician experience. Strong communication and familiarity with EHR are essential, with 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• CPhT certification required; NJ Board of Pharmacy registration within 6 months of employment.
• Two years Pharmacy Technician experience required.
• PTCB Medication History certification preferred.

• Obtain medication histories from patients or caregivers for ED admissions.
• Document current medications and allergies into the EHR for pharmacist review.
• Communicate completion of medication history to ED pharmacist, physician and nursing staff.
• Perform inpatient pharmacy technician duties if necessary.
• Precept pharmacy technicians, students and residents in home medication interviews.
