Insurcomm Restoration in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Mitigation Technician to deliver emergency restoration services for fire, water, mold, and storm damage. You’ll stabilize properties, prevent further damage, and support families and businesses during stressful times with professional, compassionate service.

This field-based, full-time role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use hand and power tools, and operate industry software on a smartphone.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain IICRC (Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification)
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
• Strong social awareness and customer service mindset
• Acceptable driving record
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Navigate Microsoft Teams and complete onsite documentation on a smartphone using proven industry software
• Team-oriented with a positive, solution-focused attitude
• Ability to wear and operate PPE safely

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency mitigation calls and assess property damage from fire, water, mold, and weather-related events
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and mitigation per IICRC standards
• Remove and dispose of damaged materials safely and efficiently
• Decontaminate, clean, and deodorize affected spaces
• Collaborate with the Contents Division to clean, pack, and store salvageable items
• Document job progress with photos and notes using PSA and other required software
• Communicate clearly with clients with empathy and respect
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
• Setup, operate, clean, and store tools and equipment
• Follow warehouse and vehicle protocols, including daily documentation of consumables and equipment use
• Work with project managers, crew chiefs, and team members
