Job summary

Insurcomm Restoration, part of Fortify Companies, is seeking a Mitigation Technician to deliver emergency restoration services for fire, water, mold, and storm damage. You will stabilize properties, prevent further harm, and provide compassionate service on the front lines.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain IICRC certification and pass required training.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for restoration work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable driving record and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency mitigation calls and assess property damage.
• Perform water extraction, drying, and mitigation per IICRC standards.
• Remove damaged materials safely and dispose appropriately.
• Decontaminate, clean, and deodorize interiors.
• Document progress with photos and notes using PSA and other software.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members throughout jobs.
