Emergency Telecommunicator Services seeks skilled Emergency Medical Dispatchers to join our 24/7 operations in Lawn. You will handle urgent medical calls, confirm patient locations, and determine response priorities using approved protocols.

You will coordinate ambulance resources and provide critical instructions while ensuring accurate documentation and data integrity. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and dispatcher certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and decision-making under pressure.
• Accurate data entry and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls involving illness, injury, and other medical emergencies.
• Confirm the patient’s location, callback number, and access details.
• Ask approved questions about the patient’s condition.
• Determine response priority through the authorized medical dispatch system.
• Dispatch or coordinate ambulance resources when included in the assignment.
• Provide protocol-based instructions within current qualifications.
• Relay patient information and scene hazards to responding personnel.
• Document call processing and participate in quality-review activities.
