Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Dept Flow Coordinator / Registered Nurse at the South Campus Emergency Department in Snellville, GA. The role centers on directing patient flow, coordinating with physicians, and overseeing ED throughput to ensure efficient care delivery.

The position requires active RN licensure in Georgia, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and NIHSS; TNCC and ENPC are preferred. Strong leadership, collaboration, and triage skills are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in good standing with Georgia license (RN).
• Graduate from nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; NIHSS required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing team priorities and patient flow in ED.
• Serve as single point of contact for MDs to minimize interruptions.
• Coordinate patient placement and transfers with Bed Control and other departments.
• Monitor tracking boards, maintain unit readiness, and ensure timely ED throughput.
