Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a dispatcher to provide operator services, police dispatch, emergency systems monitoring, and alert/code paging for physicians, visitors, and staff. You will work a flexible schedule across MHS campuses, handle stressful situations, and maintain logs and communications with campus personnel.

Experience in multi-line phone operation and healthcare communications preferred; computer skills and strong customer service required.

Qualifications

• Ability to stay calm and organized in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer and typing skills; familiarity with office software.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls; provide assistance and directory services.
• Attend safety training and meet required safety standards.
• Dispatch personnel in emergencies via paging, radio, and alerts.
• Maintain activity logs for departments and staff as directed.
• Monitor alarms and fire/panic systems; respond per policy.
• Provide dispatching services across campus for Police and other staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
