Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Roswell, GA is seeking a Coordinator of Patient Flow for the Emergency Department (FT Nights). This role leads staffing, patient flow, and department operations to ensure safe, timely care for both adults and pediatrics.

You will work under the ED Clinical Nurse Manager, coordinate with physicians and support teams, monitor throughput metrics, and drive quality, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction while advancing throughput initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of nursing practice in an Emergency Department.
• Valid RN licensure in Georgia and compliance with hospital policies.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead and coordinate patient flow and collaborate with the ED team.

Responsibilities

• Constantly rounding to oversee patient flow and coordinate with ED teams.
• Lead staffing and organize patient care for the unit.
• Monitor ED tracking board and ensure efficient throughput.
• Provide feedback to ED team through huddles and reports.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety in throughput.
• Collaborate with other hospital departments to optimize patient flow.
