Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Coordinator for the Emergency Department to lead patient flow and staffing during night shifts (7pm–7am). The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, staff leadership, and collaboration with ED leadership to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

The incumbent will monitor throughput, supervise placement, and participate in performance improvement initiatives, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Formación

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license (state) and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications as listed.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in an Emergency Department or related setting.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee patient flow and staffing in the ED during night shifts.
• Coordinate department functions with other hospital teams for throughput.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and report metrics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies and patient safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with ED leadership and staff to optimize care delivery.
