Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Coordinator Patient Flow for the Emergency Department on a full-time night schedule (7pm–7am) at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Smyrna, GA.

This role leads staffing, patient throughput, and inter-department coordination to ensure safe, efficient care. The ideal candidate will have an active RN license with 3+ years in an ED setting, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Associates nursing degree or diploma; BSN preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, RN license as applicable.
• Minimum 3 years in Emergency Department nursing.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient flow in the ED and liaison with staff and departments.
• Lead staffing, coordinate patient placement and throughput.
• Provide leadership and performance feedback to ED team.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality patient care.
