Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to support the Emergency Department and float to other areas as needed. The role focuses on patient registration, insurance processing and coordinating care to ensure timely throughput and exceptional patient experiences.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, the ability to triage patient needs, and familiarity with MyChart.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service
• OR an Associate’s Degree and one year of experience
• OR a Bachelor’s Degree
• Working knowledge of PC window applications
• Ability to perform basic math sufficient to process insurance co-pays

Responsabilidades

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive patient and visitor experience.
• Investigate, triage and resolve patient issues using the HEART model.
• Create a welcoming, professional environment and interact with patients to ensure stellar experiences.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information and records.
• Assist with patient registration, visit preparation, telephone triage and scheduling.
• Educate patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass; follow up on MyChart inquiries.
