Responsibilities

• Create the initial electronic health record foundational to patient care.
• Check in/register patients; collect demographics, insurance, and co-pays.
• Explain financial obligations and refer patients to Financial Advocates as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA, and patient rights-related notices.
• Schedule appointments and provide test preparation and arrival information.
• Provide welcoming, professional customer service and assist with directions and interpreter services.
• Monitor and manage electronic health record work queues.
