Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our high-energy ER team. You will work across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, delivering compassionate care to pets and guidance to anxious owners.

Ideal candidates are credentialed technicians with 1+ year of experience in emergency or specialty medicine, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, people-centric approach in high-stress ER settings.
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state.
• 1+ year in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty experience preferred.
• Strong communication and technical skills; able to manage fast-paced workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Maintain patient and client communication and support team plans.
