Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician in a fast-paced veterinary ER. You will work on triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, providing compassionate care to pets and support to their families.

Requires AVMA-accredited tech program and state credentialing; experience in emergency or specialty medicine is preferred. Night, weekend shifts, and holidays may be required; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, people-centric approach; strong communication under pressure.
• Association with AVMA-accredited program preferred for tech eligibility.
• Credentialed veterinary technician in the practice location required; advanced credentials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia and critical care nursing.
• Deliver nursing care and emotional support through tests and procedures.
• Handle IVs, CRIs, transfusions and monitoring.
