Job summary

VEG ER for Pets, a nationwide emergency veterinary provider, seeks an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join front lines care. You will perform triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care nursing, while offering empathetic support to pet parents during stressful moments.

Ideal candidates hold AVMA‑accredited VT credentials, have 1+ year of experience, and are prepared to work nights and weekends in a fast‑paced ER environment.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician licensed in the state of practice.
• 1+ year experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg; capable of standing for long shifts.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, triage, treatments and monitoring.
• Assist with anesthesia and critical care nursing.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging and sample collection.
• Support pet parents with compassionate communication.
• Collaborate with doctors to deliver gold‑standard care.
