Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking an experienced Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You’ll work with doctors to deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AVMA-accredited associate's degree preferred.
• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential in state required; VTS in ECC/AN a plus for compensation considerations.
• 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR/practice management software familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia and monitoring.
• Deliver compassionate support to pet parents through stressful moments.
• Assist with CPR and advanced procedures; manage examinations and care plans.
• Maintain clear communication with team to keep care flowing smoothly.
