Job summary

Public Safety Dispatch Network seeks qualified 911 Call Takers in Hamilton, WA to receive emergency calls, confirm locations, collect caller information, and document details for dispatch. Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency calls and assign nonemergency lines.
• Confirm incident location and caller information.
• Use approved questions to identify nature and urgency of situation.
• Enter details into call-processing/dispatch software.
• Forward incident information to appropriate dispatch function.
• Guide distressed callers with approved instructions when appropriate.
• Respect language-access and accessibility resources as needed.
