Henry County / Henry County PSA is hiring an Emergency 911 Telecommunicator for the Martinsville-Henry County 911 Communications Center. This full-time role supports emergency and non-emergency responses, coordinating with police, fire, and EMS, and ensuring accurate information flow across radio, phone, and CAD systems.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate calm, clear communication, and strong multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
• Strong multi-tasking and ability to manage priorities.
• Clear, accurate verbal and written communication.

Responsabilités

• Receive and process emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Dispatch law enforcement, fire, and EMS as needed.
• Document and transmit information via radio, phone, and CAD systems.
• Monitor multiple channels and maintain composure under pressure.
• Operate CAD and related communications technology.
• Maintain knowledge of Martinsville-Henry County geography to support timely response.
