Job summary

Regional 911 Intake Solutions is seeking 911 Call Takers in Halls, TN. You will answer emergency and nonemergency lines, verify locations and caller details, and document information for dispatch teams. Training and certifications guide your ability to provide pre-arrival instructions and follow established protocols.

Candidates should have strong listening skills, accurate typing, and clear communication. Previous customer service or public safety exposure helps, but is not always required;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is commonly required.
• Customer service or call-center experience is helpful, though some vacancies may accept applicants without dispatch experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency calls and assigned nonemergency lines.
• Confirm incident location and caller contact information.
• Use approved questions to determine nature and urgency of incidents.
• Enter details into call-processing or dispatch software.
• Forward incident information to the appropriate dispatch function.
• Provide pre-arrival instructions only within training and certification.
