Regional 911 Intake Solutions is seeking a dedicated 911 Call Taker to handle emergency and nonemergency lines in Colorado. You will verify locations and contact details, ask focused questions, and document information for coordination of response.

You will work in a high-stress environment, follow structured procedures, and communicate clearly with callers and dispatch teams. Training, certifications, and background checks are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Strong listening skills and ability to follow scripted questions.
• Accurate typing and data entry into systems.
• Clear verbal communication with callers and teammates.
• Ability to follow structured procedures under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency calls and assigned nonemergency lines.
• Confirm incident location and caller’s callback information.
• Use approved questions to identify nature and urgency of the situation.
• Enter accurate details into call-processing or dispatch software.
• Forward incident information promptly to the appropriate dispatch function.
• Assist distressed callers with essential questions and instructions.
• Use accessibility resources when needed.
• Provide pre-arrival instructions only within training and certification.
