Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Embedded Security Service Technician 2 in Bethpage, NY, to service and support existing customers through responding to service calls, maintenance, and small projects. You will work as part of a team to grow with the company and provide world-class security solutions.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Preferred experience in field service and access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls, routine maintenance and after-hours calls on a timely basis.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts in security systems.
• Install projects and conduct system checkouts for new and existing installations.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operations and cross-train on varying systems.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local regulations and safety policies.
