Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an experienced insurance professional to independently manage Premier in Client Tiers 2 and 3 (HNW & Affluent). You will handle renewal marketing, respond to client questions, and conduct annual client reviews with thorough risk assessments of current and future exposures, delivering service that aligns with USI Best Practices.

The role emphasizes retention, technical insurance knowledge, and proactive client engagement across renewals, with a focus on accuracy

Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance with knowledge of coverages, underwriting and rating concepts.
• Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Hold an industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU, CPRIA or pursue designation.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Sagitta/WorkSmart preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum of 95% retention of Client Accounts by proactive client engagement to retain accounts; including contacting clients that have moved business by Broker of Record letter to determine why business was lost by USI.
• Provide technical expertise with service of new and existing clients and identify exposures.
• Maintain renewal expirations, avoid any lapse in coverage.
• Make insurance program recommendations.
• Respond to underwriters’ questions in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance, as needed.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document management systems.
• Provide direction to clients in submitting first reports of claims, facilitate prompt response from carrier.
• Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverage.
