Job summary

The Container Store in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an Outside Sales & Design Consultant who designs and sells custom spaces by appointment for homes and select small to mid-sized businesses. You will guide customers from concept through installation, delivering organized, functional solutions that fit their space and budget.

This full-time role offers a competitive base salary with a ramp-up period and a lucrative monthly incentive tied to sales performance.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred with 2-5 years of outside sales experience.
• Design or closets experience preferred.
• Self-starter with strong organization and time-management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, AutoCAD-based tools.
• Reliable transportation within 100 miles and valid auto insurance.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds sales goals and builds repeat clientele.
• Designs and sells custom spaces by appointment.
• Manages multiple projects with attention to detail and communication.
• Develops B2B relationships with property managers, builders, and real estate pros.
• Builds relationships with interior designers, realtors, and other partners.
• Identifies and manages small to mid-sized B2B/trade opportunities.
• Arrives promptly to appointments and attends installations as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality of company and customer information.
