National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow membership through direct, on-site engagement with independent business owners. You will present a proven membership model, enroll members, and demonstrate NFIB’s advocacy impact in Washington, DC and state capitals.

Ideal candidates bring entrepreneurial spirit, grit, and a coachable mindset, with a drive for results and the ability to work a self-directed field schedule.

Qualifications

• Track record of owning or leading initiatives with accountability for results.
• Ability to cold-call face-to-face and build rapport with business owners.
• Willingness to learn and apply a proven sales model with measurable outcomes.
• Motivated by serving small business owners and advocacy in DC and state capitals.

Responsibilities

• Prospect by conducting in-person calls to meet small business owners.
• Master and deliver a concise, proven 5-minute sales presentation.
• Close memberships and process payments on the spot with confidence.
• Educate owners on NFIB advocacy and rights protection in DC and state capitals.
