Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate in the United States. You will be a hunter/closer responsible for growing NFIB membership by engaging independent business owners across industries.

Expect to follow a proven, structured sales model and deliver a concise five-minute presentation. This W-2 role offers paid training, full benefits, and an uncapped commission and bonus plan.

Qualifications

• Power traits include entrepreneurial spirit, grit, coach mentality, and mission focus.
• Ability to conduct face-to-face cold calls and build rapport with small business owners.
• Comfort with a proven, structured sales model and ongoing improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: Conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• The NFIB Presentation: Master and deliver a 5-minute verbal sales presentation.
• The Close: Use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: Educate owners on NFIB protections in DC and state capitals.
