Job summary

Visual Comfort & Co. is seeking a dynamic sales professional in Dallas to drive new business and expand existing relationships with residential builders, interior designers, architects, and electrical contractors.

You will report to the Regional Director of Sales and collaborate with a team to acquire, grow and retain customers. The role emphasizes consultative selling, design market knowledge, and the ability to convert prospects through strong relationship management and CRM use.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in a consultative environment.
• 1+ years experience in custom home building products, interior design, luxury home furnishings and/or lighting industry.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required.
• Proven track record of cultivating relationships and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the sales process, leveraging resources for solution development or implementation.
• Access existing and new target customers; conduct 16 face-to-face sales calls per week.
• Clearly communicate Visual Comfort’s value proposition to influence customers.
• Network with architects, builders and designers through trade associations.
• Manage existing customers to ensure retention and continued sales growth.
• Use CRM to manage a priority-based schedule with customers.
• Develop knowledge of Visual Comfort’s product offering and service value propositions.
• Analyze data to drive decision making.
