Job summary

Visual Comfort & Co. in Dallas, TX is seeking a showroom sales and design professional to deliver lighting and shading solutions to trade and retail clients, guiding projects from concept through installation.

The role combines hands-on sales with technical design support, requiring strong client service, project management, and knowledge of lighting specs, controls, and BOM documentation. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and MS Office; D365 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury home furnishings, lighting, or building materials desired.
• Strong client service and showroom sales experience required.
• Knowledge of lighting specifications (CRi, color temp) and control systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed showroom sales objectives.
• Manage the sales process from opportunity to invoice with strong follow-up.
• Deliver expert lighting design consulting and product recommendations for trade and retail clients.
• Develop relationships with architects, builders, designers, and homeowners to drive new business.
• Support project management to align deliverables with approved designs.
• Maintain showroom standards, utilize order entry systems, and participate in a rotating Saturday schedule.
