Job summary

Visual Comfort & Co. in Maryland seeks a driven sales professional to expand relationships with residential builders, interior designers, architects and electrical contractors in lighting and systems products.

You will lead the full sales cycle, conduct about 16 face-to-face calls weekly, communicate our value proposition, and leverage CRM tools to drive growth while collaborating with marketing and operations to meet targets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in consultative sales environment.
• 1+ years in custom home building products, interior design, luxury home furnishings and/or lighting industry.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required.
• Proven track record of cultivating relationships and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the sales process, coordinating with sales, marketing and operations to develop solutions.
• Conduct ~16 face-to-face sales calls per week and access new and existing target customers.
• Clearly communicate Visual Comfort’s value proposition to influence customers.
• Network with architects, builders and designers through trade associations.
• Manage existing customers to ensure retention and continued growth.
• Utilize proprietary CRM to manage priority-based schedules with customers.
• Develop deep knowledge of Visual Comfort’s product offerings and service value.
• Analyze data to drive decision making.
