Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership through in-person outreach and a proven sales process. You’ll engage independent business owners, delivering a concise presentation and closing membership enrollments on the spot.

As a Hunter/Closer, you will build relationships, overcome objections, and work toward uncapped commissions within a comprehensive benefits package and paid training.

Qualifications

• Proven perseverance and ability to close deals.
• Experience adapting strategy under pressure.
• Background in sales, military leadership, education, or small business ownership.
• Proficient with digital sales tools.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners.
• Deliver the NFIB 5-minute presentation with confidence.
• Close by enrolling new members and processing payments on the spot.
• Educate owners on NFIB advocacy in DC and state capitals.
