Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to expand NFIB membership through in-field, face-to-face outreach. You’ll work in the community, meeting small business owners, and spend about 95% in the field.

This Hunter/Closer role rewards results with uncapped commission, paid training, full benefits, and a self-directed schedule in a national field role.

Qualifications

• Past ownership or leadership in business or sales roles demonstrates accountability.
• Strong at face-to-face prospecting and building rapport with small business owners.
• Willingness to learn a proven, structured sales model.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced field sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners.
• The NFIB Presentation: master and deliver our success-proven, 5-minute verbatim sales presentation.
• The Close: use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and process payments.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB protections in DC and state capitals.
