The Call Center Premium Surgery Counselor supports patients through the surgical process, counsels on options including premium products, and coordinates scheduling and pre-operative preparations to ensure a smooth experience for patients and referring

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to discuss financial options with patients.
• Detail oriented, reliable and able to multi-task in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of surgeries performed at AVP facilities.
• Counsels patients for surgery and explains what to expect.
• Educates patients on pre/post-operative instructions and consents.
• Reviews surgery paperwork to ensure signed documents are received.
• Schedules appointments and monitors surgery schedules.
• Contacts patients to reschedule after cancellations/no-shows.
• Supports referring provider relationships and patient experience.
• Responds to inquiries to ensure timely follow-up.
