Rivian is seeking a Sales Advisor IV at our McLean, VA location to manage the full sales cycle—from lead qualification to close—and deliver a personalized, high-touch customer experience across in-person, demo drive, phone, text, and email channels.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in Sales, Retail, Hospitality or similar fields. Premium brands and direct-to-consumer experience a plus.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Proven track record in a high-velocity sales cycle with commission-based environment.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments with iteration and changes.
• Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills (written and verbal).
• Flexible schedule to support nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel to support events and new market launches.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams or Google Workspace.
• Comfortable operating large, high-performance vehicles and conducting demo drives.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR history.

Responsibilities

• Hit monthly and quarterly sales targets and key KPIs.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience at Rivian locations.
• Qualify customers and tailor experiences to drive conversion.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Rivian products and community stories.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with high-touch service.
• Support order confirmations and follow-ups to drive conversions.
• Host retail activations and events to generate demand.
• Solicit customer feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on EV market trends to strengthen value propositions.
• Share best practices with teammates to foster learning and wins.
