Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Bike Technician to build and repair bicycles and provide expert service in the Bike Department. You will engage customers with knowledge and enthusiasm, recommending products and promotions to help athletes achieve their goals.

Responsibilities include following established procedures, maintaining merchandise presentation, and supporting store operations. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and a hands-on, all-hands-on-deck approach to teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).

Responsibilities

• Build and repair bikes according to established procedures.
• Provide passionate customer service and informed product recommendations in the Bike Department.
• Promote warranty sales, loyalty Scorecard, and seasonal promotions.
• Achieve sales goals through selling bikes and related merchandise.
• Assist with the assembly of exercise equipment as needed.
• Maintain Bike Department presentation and signage to company standards.
