DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Bike Technician to provide expert bicycle service and exceptional customer experiences in our store. You will build and repair bikes, educate customers on products, and contribute to achieving department sales goals while maintaining visual standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on bike work, engaging customers with knowledge and enthusiasm for cycling, and collaborating with the store team to drive sport enthusiasts toward the right gear and accessories.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs.
• Items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and service bicycles following established procedures.
• Provide passionate customer service and up-sell through engagement.
• Maintain Bike Department presentation and signage to company standards.
• Assist with assembly of exercise equipment as needed.
• Promote warranty sales, loyalty programs, and seasonal promotions.
• Adhere to safety and loss-prevention policies and support store team.
