Job summary

Ascensus, a leading technology and service platform for retirement plans, seeks a skilled relationship manager to partner with elite advisors and drive service excellence. You will manage a high-value book of business, coordinate with internal teams, and present strategic analyses to C-level executives to support retention and organic growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in retirement services industry.
• Experience with direct client/client-equivalent relationships in financial services administration.
• Ability to work independently and within a cohesive team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight timelines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to balance client needs with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Protect confidential data and ensure proper handling to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
• Foster relationships with elite advisors and promote organic growth through consultative solutions.
• Meet with C-level executives to develop education and communication strategies.
• Communicate updates on platform rollouts and provide training as appropriate.
• Lead or participate in projects to create additional value for existing relationships.
• Conduct pricing reviews to evaluate profitability and retain at-risk clients.
• Coordinate with internal Ascensus departments to advocate for elite advisors and their clients.
• Deliver customized book-of-business reporting and assist with revenue generation.
