Job summary

Ascensus is the leading independent technology and service platform powering savings plans across America. This role partners with Client Services to serve elite advisors, driving retention and organic growth through strategic analyses and consultative solutions.

The successful candidate will meet with C‑level executives to educate and communicate platform rollouts, provide training, and collaborate across Ascensus to enhance service and capture a larger share of wallet from elite advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in retirement services.
• Direct client relationships in financial services admin environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Detail oriented with high quality under tight time constraints.
• Sound business judgment balancing client needs and organizational considerations.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including group presentations.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to coordinate and run meetings with senior personnel.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Understanding of investments used in retirement programs.

Responsibilities

• Protect confidential data and safeguard against unauthorized access or disclosure.

• Foster relationships and promote organic growth with elite advisors through strategic analyses and consultative solutions.
• Meet with C-Level executives to develop education and communication strategies.
• Communicate new platform rollouts and enhancements; provide training as appropriate.
• Demonstrate proactive client focus and teamwork to enhance retention and growth.
• Advocate for elite advisors and their clients by coordinating with internal Ascensus departments.
• Enhance the Ascensus experience to capture a greater share of wallet from elite advisors.
• Review book of business to identify plan retention and optimize products/services; generate revenue.
• Identify and execute cross-sell revenue opportunities.
• Deliver customized book of business reporting (AFCA, advanced payment reporting, Plan Illustrator, Fiduciary Benchmark).
• Lead or participate in projects delivering additional value for existing relationships.
• Conduct plan-specific pricing reviews to retain at-risk clients.
